run Long Beach

This was my second marathon, and I ran it with my younger brother Fernando. It was two months after having run our first one, and on this occasion our parents also came along to support. Getting to be part of this lively event as a family was totally new and amazing. The course was mostly flat, it followed unique parts of downtown Long Beach and ran along the Pacific Ocean. With over 20,000 participants the entire race was filled with great energy from runners and supporters.
