Honolulu marathon

With the support of our parents on the side, my brother Fernando and I completed this demanding race. Besides going up a challenging hill twice - towards the first half and then the last few miles of the run - the course was mainly flat. The weather (hot and humid) and volume of participants (over 35,000) were significant factors increasing the level of difficulty and affecting the overall running experience.
